Author Biographies

Mara Nicosia

Mara Nicosia is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Padua. The primary focus of her research is the study of Syriac rhetoric, but she is also interested in Semitic languages and the contacts between Greek and various types of Aramaic.

Koen De Temmerman

Koen De Temmerman is a Full Professor at the Department of Literary Studies at Ghent University, where he directs the Novel Saints: Ancient Fiction and Hagiography Research Centre.
